COVID 19 Information for Lovlies
In these difficult times, Lovlies, has managed to remain open with certain government guidelines and protocols in place. Collections can be made from Lovlies HQ at 4 Charnwood Road, Barwell, Leicester, LE9 8FJ. My entrance is a wooden arch door. On the door are instructions for collection. Please ring the bell, then stand back, I will then answer and place your goodies on a stool, I will then stand back and you are now free to collect you items. After each collection, I sanitise the door bell and surrounding area. Payment is contactless at the moment, and is either by pay pal – trish@lovlies.co.uk or bank transfer – details can be provided at the time and I can now take contactless credit cars, via my SUMUP machine.  All items can be gift wrapped, message cards can be added, with pretty ribbon and tissue paper for that special touch.
If you are self isolating, or for a gift, I am able to offer a free delivery service for items over £10, in the local area, Barwell, Earl Shilton and Hinckley. I can deliver further but this would incur a charge.
At the moment, Lovlies is able to offer a variety of gluten and wheat free items from my 100% free from, registered 5, and insured, kitchen. I ONLY bake/make gluten and wheat free, nothing else. Dairy free can easily be catered for too.

AFTERNOON TEA £12 per person, this is for 10 plus different items, with your choice of scone – plain, sultana, cherry, choc chip, choc chip & orange, cinnamon & brown sugar. I also offer cheese scones, mini pizza scones and pesto & parmesan scones too. There are many pictures of afternoon teas on my Facebook page. I tend to make different items for each tea, but if you have a favourite cake or dislike certain flavours, please mention this at the time of booking. Anniversaries and birthdays can be made special by small touches added too. You may also add truffles, mallows, etc, if you wish.
CHEESE PLATTERS for two for £15. 5 different cheeses, including a blue cheese, please say if you do not like blue cheese, and I will replace with a different cheese. This is served on a platter, with caramelised onion chutney, silver skin onions, olives, baby tomatoes, cheese scones, crackers, pesto & parmesan bites, mini pizza bites, and green & red grapes.
GOODIE BOXES these are a box containing 16 slots. They contain a mixture of my HANDMADE BELGIAN CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES, with a selection of Belgian chocolate chewy fudge, cake balls and or marshmallows, depending on availability. These can be gift wrapped and a message added too. I do have other smaller boxes too for the truffles. You choose the flavour of truffles for the goodie box.
HANDMADE BELGIAN CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES. I regularly make up batches of 14 different flavours. I only use the finest Belgian chocolate, and these truffles are naturally gluten and wheat free, as they are made from chocolate, cream & flavour, nothing else is added, so all you get is the FLAVOUR!! At the moment they are 50p each. Please see Facebook or message me for an up to date list as this changes each time. Remember YOU get to choose your favourite flavours, or I can choose for you if its a gift.
FLUFFY CLOUD MALLOWS 20p per piece. So light and airy, just melts in the mouth, as one reviewer said, its just like eating a fluffy little cloud. I make different flavours of these each batch of 3 too, such as Mango & passion fruit, Eton Mess, Candyfloss, Lemon meringue, request can be taken.
CAKE PLATES – these plates usually contain 6/7 different cake/s, sometimes with a scone. They range from £7 upwards depending on content and how many pieces, but can be ordered with a choice of scone too.
BIRTHDAY CAKES – Small birthday cakes - 6”, 7” or 8” can be made. They can be covered in fresh cream, frosting/buttercream or drip cakes are available in many different flavours – Sponge, Lemon, Chocolate, Chocolate orange, Mango & passion fruit, Strawberry champagne, raspberry white chocolate, Red Velvet, carrot cake and more, with many choices of buttercream/frosting fillings. Price varies on decoration, flavour.
